Women In Leadership 2024

Description

Register here for the opening event of the Women in Leadership series for the 2023-2024 school year.

Members from AESD, AWSP, WAMOA, WASA, WASBO, WSPA, and WSSDA are invited to this free virtual fall kick-off event on Tuesday, October 10th from 9:30-11 am. We’ll hear from several dynamic education leaders, connect in breakout rooms by ESD region, and see the calendar of statewide and regional events taking place throughout the year.

The event will include a wellness-focused opening from Carla Costa Sandine, Vice President of Communications, Marketing and Community, Kaiser Permanente; a keynote address by Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard on the topic of Female Leaders: Using Authenticity as our Superpower; and will conclude with an opportunity to connect with your regional peers.

Our associations are committed to paving a smooth pathway of support for women who are aspiring to or serving in educational leadership roles.

We believe:
  • Everyone's leadership journey should be supported, and every career destination deserves to be celebrated.
  • Coordinating our support will lead to increased women in leadership roles and improved longevity.
  • Collaborative efforts will strengthen our impact without infringing upon the individual work of our organizations.
For questions,  contact Roz Thompson.
