Jethro Jones, is a national award-winning former school leader, podcaster, and author of the books How to be a Transformative Principal and SchoolX: How principals can design a transformative school experience for the people right in front of them! He is also founder of the BE Podcast Network, the best educational podcast network out there. Jethro currently consults school leaders on strategies to help them save time, lead more effectively, and overcome their own weaknesses. Jethro has worked as a principal at all K-12 levels, including a prison school, a district coach, distance learning team lead, and English teacher.
Dr. Dana Anderson, CEO of Washington School Information Processing Cooperative (WSIPC). Served in Washington State as a classroom teacher of mathematics and science, school principal, district superintendent, ESD Superintendent, and currently as CEO of the largest public data processing cooperative in the country. WSIPC was formed by Washington’s nine Educational Service Districts in the early 80’s. It currently has over 3 Million registered users within the Skyward solution provided to 94% of Washington's school districts.
David joined AWSP in December 2013 after working for OSPI. He worked on the Basic Education Finance Task Force and started on the Teacher/Principal Evaluation Program in 2010. When he's not working, he's successfully escaping from escape rooms with his wife Taylor, playing tennis, or buying the latest Apple product. Email David.
Scott Friedman joined AWSP in July of 2018 after 25 years as a teacher, coach, school, and district administrator. He began his educational career at Ridgetop Junior High is Silverdale as a teacher and coach. From there he taught and coached at Riverside High School before embarking on his administrative career. Scott has served as a high school assistant principal and athletic director. From there he spent four years as an elementary principal. The last four years Scott has been the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Nine Mile Falls School District. Learn more.
